AVIXA is committed to providing flexible learning options for professionals in the AV industry. However, please note the following regarding the use of 529 college savings plan funds: 

  • Membership Purchases: Funds from a 529 plan cannot be used to purchase AVIXA memberships. Membership dues are not considered an eligible education expense under 529 plan guidelines.  
  • Eligible Purchases: You may use 529 funds to purchase the following without requiring AVIXA membership:
