Oceania Award Winners Honoured at Integrate 2017
The success of Integrate 2017 in Melbourne proved once again that the expo is Australia’s core event for the AV and system integration industry. AVIXA under its previous association name InfoComm International, not only offered a wide array of well attended professional development training, but also special events for Women in AV or Young Professionals in AV programmes.
One highlight of show day one was without doubt the AVIXA Oceania Regional Awards ceremony, where some of the industry’s professionals were honoured for their outstanding performances. The ceremony, held for the first time in this region, also served as a handy networking opportunity, as industry people from Australia, New Zealand and overseas mingled over drinks and canapés. The awards programme will continue in the region, with the call for nominations being announced early 2018.
The 2017 AVIXA Oceania Regional Award winners are:
- Oceania Volunteer of the Year Award – Alec Graham, CTS®-I, CTS-D, The Citadel Group Limited
- Oceania Young AV Professional Award – Ben Caswell, Knox Grammar School
- Oceania Women in AV Award – Hannah Harris, Extron Australia
- Oceania CTS Holder of the Year Award – Nathan Gardiner, CTS, University of Canterbury, New Zealand
- Oceania Distinguished Achievement Award – Reg Collins, CTS, University of Technology Sydney (retired)
Congratulations again to all AVIXA Oceania award winners 2017!
