Audiovisual Network Professional Certification (ANP)

AVIXA exams are only delivered at secure, in-person, Pearson testing centers.

The application is available on www.avixa.org/anp. Log into your account and register for the exam by completing the online exam application. You will be directed to our payment portal for the exam fee once your application is submitted. Upon completion of payment, you will receive a Candidate Eligibility Notice via email to schedule the exam through Pearson VUE. 

The cost of the ANP exam is 250 USD for Paid Members and 350 USD for Non-Members. Pricing in other currencies can be found in the ANP Candidate Handbook.

You may retest up to 2 times at the reduced retesting fee by submitting a retest application and completing payment for the retest fee each time. Once 30 days have passed since your last exam attempt you may apply to retest.

The retest application is available on www.avixa.org/anp. Log into your account and select ANP Retest to submit the online retest application. You will be directed to our payment portal for the exam fee once you submit the form. Upon completion of payment, you will receive a Candidate Eligibility Notice via email to schedule another exam through Pearson VUE. 

Your exam authorization is good for 120 days from the time of registration. You must schedule and sit the exam within 120 days.

You are not required to take any courses from AVIXA or other providers in order to take the ANP exam. AVIXA does offer the following course that will help with most topic areas:

No, the ANP is separate from the CTS program. Renewal Units (RUs) will not be awarded for completion of the ANP Certification.

The ANP exam is currently only available in English.

No, the ANP certification is separate from the CTS program. You may apply for the ANP exam regardless of CTS status.

RUs are available for the ANP certification and will require 30 RUs to renew. You can find which courses are approved for ANP RUs in the RU Provider approved course list.
