Association Health Plan

Association Health Plans are group health plans that employer groups and associations offer to provide health coverage to their employees in the United States. They allow for organizations, whether smaller employers or multi-national companies (firms with 2 people to 500 or more USA employees) to band together to purchase coverages that are typically available to large employers. This results in a more competitive offering with coverage options that are tailored to the needs of the group.

AVIXA is exploring this option to provide access to competitive prices and to enhance the benefits of AVIXA membership to enterprises.

Since these plans are based on volume discounts, the higher response rate would put us in a stronger negotiating position with insurance carriers to provide a competitive product at a competitive rate. Also, your participation will tell us if AVIXA members are interested in this offering.
