The Sustainability advisory group was created by the AVIXA Board of Directors in 2023 to find resources and support the Pro-AV Industry in becoming more sustainable.
2024 Goals:
- Build Resources for the EU Corporate Sustainability Reporting Rules
- Build a plan for building community and engagement in the Sustainable in AV Group on the Xchange

Purpose Statement
The Sustainability Advisory Group is an expert volunteer group that meets quarterly, designed to collaboratively assist both the community and AVIXA in the realization of the AVIXA Sustainability task force’s proposed outcomes which include:
- Actively participate and build community in the Sustainable in AV group on the Xchange.
- Identify and support regional groups supported by local staff.
- Make recommendations on partner organizations/companies.
- Make recommendations on content and support AVIXA content team-marketing, editorial, social media etc.
- Curate and make recommendations to AVIXA on current and upcoming global standards and recommendations.
