CTS Prep Bundle - Fairfax, VA
Build your confidence and strengthen your readiness for the CTS® exam through this immersive, four-day, in-person training experience in Fairfax. The CTS Prep Bundle combines the in-depth CTS2 course with the focused CTS Quick Prep session to provide a structured and strategic approach to exam preparation.
During the first three days, participants complete CTS2 that deepens understanding of core competencies covered in the CTS exam. Learners expand their AV knowledge through applied concepts, including AV standards, math fundamentals, technical systems, project lifecycle, installation practices, troubleshooting, and customer needs analysis. This portion of the program is designed to reinforce real-world skills and strengthen foundational knowledge essential for AV professionals preparing for certification.
On the final day, students attend CTS Quick Prep: Certification Overview and Study Drills, a review session focused on exam structure, test-taking strategies, key concepts aligned with the CTS Job Task Analysis (JTAs), and guided practice using sample questions vetted by industry experts. This session is designed to reinforce existing knowledge and help participants approach the exam with greater clarity and confidence.
Through direct interaction with instructors and peers, participants benefit from a structured learning environment that supports professional development and certification readiness. While this bundle provides valuable preparation and review, successful exam performance ultimately depends on each candidate’s experience, study, and readiness.

Candidates should review the CTS candidate handbook to learn more about the CTS Exam. Remember, there is no requirement to take any classes or buy study materials to take the CTS exam.
