AV Installation Skills Day

AV Installation Skills Day is a hands-on practical training course intended for those that are new or are currently working within the AV industry looking to build their technical knowledge. This course will cover practical concepts helpful for those individuals preparing for the AV Technologist Certificate as well as field technicians who regularly install AV components such as pulling or terminating cable, or other installation tasks while on the job.

Volunteer Instructor 

T S Gopalakrishnan, CTS-D, CTS-I is an AVIXA Instructor. He is an electronics engineer by qualification and has over 21 years of experience in professional AV industry. Starting his career as a design and application engineer in Philips Projects, he was part of many prestigious integrated audio-visual installation projects in India covering a variety of market segments including conference, assembly, industrial, transportation and entertainment projects.

Presently he is working as Technology Specialist with Dynamix Media, New Delhi – an AVIXA member company and a leading Audio Visual Experiential Solutions Provider – he is part of team designing and implementing unique solutions for the Event AV requirements. Prior to this, he has had a stints with  Highbrow – An Audio visual technology solutions provider for events and also has worked as technical director at IDSPL — a leading audio-visual and lighting systems integrator based out of Delhi — where he has extended his design and execution capabilities in facilitating a number of successful AV projects including sound and light shows. His experience as a design consultant with audio conference and simultaneous interpretation is unparalleled in the region. He has conducted several class-room trainings on CTS Prep, AV Systems Installation Fabrication and Systems Performance Verification courses in India and the Middle East. He participated at the InfoComm Faculty Excellence Program in USA during March 2015 and has been contributing to the industry by presenting seminars and training sessions at the Infocomm Shows in the region.
