ANP

The Audiovisual Network Professional Certification serves as a tool to help AV professionals prove their AV networking skills as the AV and IT fields converge. With this credential, you will be able to demonstrate that while you’ve long known the AV side, you can also properly get your equipment on the network.

You do not need a CTS credential to take the ANP exam.

CTS

Individuals, companies, and customers have always recognized the CTS certification for its credibility and integrity. With this credential, you will be able to demonstrate your ability to perform general audiovisual tasks by creating, implementing, supporting, and servicing audiovisual solutions that meet the needs of clients.

You must earn the CTS before you earn a specialized designation, like CTS-D and CTS-I.

CTS-D

The CTS-D is a specialized designation that demonstrates AV design knowledge. Many CTS-D holders are AV systems designers or engineers.

With this credential, you will be able to demonstrate your ability to:

  • Assess client needs and design audiovisual solutions

  • Coordinate, communicate, and document ongoing design responsibilities and activities

  • Conduct system verification and project closeout activities

To take the CTS-D exam you must have the CTS credential.

CTS-I

The CTS-I designation demonstrates AV installation knowledge. Many CTS-I holders are installation techs, system integrators, & system commissioners.

With this credential, you will be able to demonstrate your ability to:

  • Install, configure, and maintain audiovisual solutions

  • Coordinate, communicate, and document ongoing installation responsibilities and activities

  • Perform system tests, conduct training, and provide project closeout documentation

To apply for this exam you must have the CTS credential.
