Rob Hyde is a systems engineer, and has been a professional support services manager for more than 30 years. Rob is currently Principal Service Manager for Learning and Events Technology at the University of Bath, where he has been supporting the academic community for approaching 15 years. He specialises in the field of developing physical learning spaces, integrated and interconnected systems, and audio-visual learning technologies.
Rob has been recently undertaking a PhD in resourcing technology provision and technology support services with the development of high-quality physical learning spaces.
Rob is also Executive Officer for Development, Education, Learning, Training and Apprentices for Schoms.
The result of his PhD is contributing to the Schoms major developments of the creation of An Holistic Framework For Effective Learning Environments (with Dr. Caroline Pepper – Birmingham University), and the Development, Education, Learning, Training and Apprentices (DELTA) Framework (with Catherine Sharman – King’s College London).
