Richard Jonker
Vice President, Commercial Business Development, NETGEAR
Richard currently serves as Vice President, Commercial Business Development at NETGEAR, where he focuses on expanding the company’s leadership and ecosystem in AV-over-IP across ProAV, Broadcast, and Live Production.
A seasoned international technology executive, Jonker brings 35 years of global management, product, sales, and business development experience.
Jonker worked at Apple before he joined NETGEAR in 2007 as Country Manager for Benelux, responsible for building the company’s Consumer Electronics and Commercial businesses. In 2010, he was appointed Vice President of Emerging Markets. In 2015, he relocated to NETGEAR’s California headquarters to lead Product Line Management for the company’s Commercial portfolio.
In 2021, Jonker returned to a European/APAC role to help accelerate NETGEAR’s expansion into AV-over-IP. His responsibilities span technology strategy, business development, strategic vendor relationships, and market analysis. Under this initiative, NETGEAR has built an ecosystem of more than 630 manufacturer partnerships across ProAV, Broadcast, and Live Entertainment.
