So let’s add a new chapter to AV best practices:
" The Sustainable Content Lifecycle "
What it should look like:
Smart file optimization (right resolution, right bit-rate).
Automated brightness + power schedules.
Motion-optimized content to reduce processing load.
Local rendering where possible.
Regular content audits.
Content agencies educated on AV realities.
Reduce hardware replacement caused by content mistakes.
Because sometimes the most sustainable thing we can do is simply exporting the file correctly.
