Discover the benefits of earning professional AV certifications for you or your team.

The Audiovisual Network Professional Certification serves as a tool to help AV professionals prove their AV networking skills as the AV and IT fields converge. With this credential, you will be able to demonstrate that while you’ve long known the AV side, you can also properly get your equipment on the network.
You do not need a CTS credential to take the ANP exam.
Did you know that according to the AVIXA® 2019 Meta: Pro-AV Channel Employment Report, more than 80 percent of firms prefer or require CTS holders for higher level engineering and technician positions?
In pro AV the Certified Technology Specialist (CTS) Program is the leading professional credential with more than 15,000 CTS holders worldwide. And because it is ANAB-accredited to the ISO 17024 standard, you can be assured it meets the highest standards for demonstrating and verifying you or your team's skill set.
What does this mean for you and your organization? It means that a proven, reliable credential like CTS could make you (and your business) a top contender in AV projects.

Individuals, companies, and customers have always recognized the CTS certification for its credibility and integrity. With this credential, you will be able to demonstrate your ability to perform general audiovisual tasks by creating, implementing, supporting, and servicing audiovisual solutions that meet the needs of clients.
You must earn the CTS before you earn a specialized designation, like CTS-D and CTS-I.

The CTS-D is a specialized designation that demonstrates AV design knowledge. Many CTS-D holders are AV systems designers or engineers.
With this credential, you will be able to demonstrate your ability to:
Assess client needs and design audiovisual solutions
Coordinate, communicate, and document ongoing design responsibilities and activities
Conduct system verification and project closeout activities
To take the CTS-D exam you must have the CTS credential.

The CTS-I designation demonstrates AV installation knowledge. Many CTS-I holders are installation techs, system integrators, & system commissioners.
With this credential, you will be able to demonstrate your ability to:
Install, configure, and maintain audiovisual solutions
Coordinate, communicate, and document ongoing installation responsibilities and activities
Perform system tests, conduct training, and provide project closeout documentation
To apply for this exam you must have the CTS credential.
