Course Description
This 100-question test is taken online, not at a testing center. Register by adding the test to your cart and completing the checkout process. Upon registration, you are given 180 days to pass the test. Passing score is 80% or above, resulting in a certificate of completion located in your education history. Content is based entirely on the course Essentials of AV Technology Online. This is not a certification exam. This test does not provide renewal units (RUs) toward AVIXA general and specialized certification renewal.

Steps to Getting Your AV Technologist Certificate
Prepare for the test by taking CTS 1: AV Technology online or in a virtual or live classroom course. All the content on the test is covered in this course.
