Leadership Search Committee
The Leadership Search Committee (LSC) was established by AVIXA in 2008 to find and mentor volunteers to serve on committees and to appear on the next AVIXA election ballot.
The LSC consists of the Leadership Search Committee Chair; the Chairman of the Board of Directors, Vice Chair and Secretary-Treasurer of AVIXA; three members elected by AVIXA membership; and four members appointed by the Leadership Search Committee Chair. The LSC will make appointments and nominations and will make suggestions to committee chairs, the Board, and the Chairman of the Board of Directors for their use in recruiting committee members.

Finance Committee
The Finance Committee was established by AVIXA as a standing committee of the Board of Directors to monitor the finances of AVIXA.
The Finance Committee consists of the Leadership Search Committee Chair; the Chairman of the Board of Directors, Vice Chair and Secretary-Treasurer of AVIXA; up to three non-officer Board members appointed by the Board of Directors; and two AVIXA members who do not serve on the Board of Directors appointed by the Board of Directors. The Finance Committee is charged to present budgets for approval by the Board and monitor AVIXA’s finances and work with AVIXA staff and the auditors to plan, monitor, and report on any annual or special audits. The Finance Committee is chaired by AVIXA’s Secretary-Treasurer.
