InfoComm América Latina 2026 Strengthens Its Role as the Region's AV Hub

After posting double-digit growth at its second edition, the AVIXA-organized event will return October 20–22, 2027, at the World Trade Center in Mexico City. It will feature a 20% larger exhibition floor; 83% of the expanded floor space is already reserved by exhibitors.

Mexico City, Mexico – October 27, 2026 – InfoComm América Latina 2026, held October 21–23 at the World Trade Center in Mexico City, brought together the region’s audiovisual integration industry community for three days filled with innovation, training, networking, and business development. In its second edition, the event organized by AVIXA (Audiovisual and Integrated Experience Association) welcomed 5,904 verified attendees, a 13% increase from 2025. International participation rose from 6% to 11%, and end users accounted for 26% of attendees. The event's regional focus was reinforced as professionals traveled from countries such as Colombia, Costa Rica, Guatemala, Honduras, and Panama, in addition to Mexico.

The event featured 82 exhibitors, 28% more than the previous year, and 4,033 square meters of net exhibition floor space, a 52% increase. It showcased the latest technologies for professional audiovisual solutions, including LED and video displays, audio equipment, conferencing and collaboration systems, digital signage, control and automation, content distribution, lighting, AI-powered solutions, and immersive experiences. With this growth, InfoComm América Latina reaffirms its position as Latin America's leading gathering for the audiovisual integration industry.

“I’m amazed by InfoComm América Latina 2026. What caught my attention the most was the genuine passion shown by the community,” said Jenn Heinold, senior vice president, expositions, Americas, AVIXA, who oversees InfoComm in the United States and InfoComm América Latina. “Those who were here last year were impressed by this year’s experience and by the event’s growth. First-time attendees discovered the dynamism of the audiovisual integration industry in Latin America, gained access to technologies that have entered the market over the past year, and returned home with new contacts, knowledge, and business partners.”

For Heinold, the growth stems from the foundation laid by the first edition: relevant training, a diverse exhibition floor, and renowned specialists. “When you organize a good event, word gets around,” she noted, adding that many visitors came this year because they heard about the 2025 event. The Latin American market is also growing, with integrators reporting more projects across the region.

Ana Elisa Benavent, Show Director of InfoComm América Latina, agreed the event addresses a regional need: “InfoComm América Latina filled a gap in the industry. Previously, Latin American audiovisual integration professionals had to travel to Europe or the United States to access the latest innovations. Our goal is to bring that technology to the region and adapt distributors' training, experiences, and offerings to the region’s reality and challenges. That’s why there’s so much energy among our visitors: a strong desire to see, learn, understand, and connect.”

Audiovisual Technology in Action

One highlight of this year’s event was the evolution of exhibitors, who expanded their spaces and improved their booths visually, as well as in their experiential and technological offerings. Brands focused on showcasing audiovisual integration solutions in action, moving beyond equipment displays so end users could better understand how these solutions apply in real-world situations.

That same idea guided the concept behind the six immersive experiences offered at the event. They were designed to demonstrate what technology can achieve when audio, video, lighting, content, and automation are integrated into a single system. Digital art, content production, and workspaces and wellness areas introduced visitors to applications found in museums, airports, offices, stores, and hotels.

Demo Rooms: Professional Audio Put to the Test

The nine Demo Rooms returned after a positive reception in their first edition. They let integrators, consultants, and end users listen to professional audio systems under conditions similar to real-world projects. In separate, comfortable rooms on set schedules, visitors could plan their tour, listen at their leisure, compare solutions, and ask specialists questions directly.

An Educational Program for All Professionals

The Educational Program, led by 90 international specialists, drew 1,734 attendees, an 8.6% increase over 2025, across 61 sessions and five guided tours. Nearly half of participants (46%) attended more than one session. This edition was more interactive and hands-on, featuring in-demand workshops, an approach the event will continue to develop in 2027.

The program featured familiar events, such as Congreso AVIXA, and added new knowledge tracks such as the AI Summit + Lab, dedicated to artificial intelligence in audiovisual integration; the HETMA Higher Education Summit, for university technology leaders; AVanza, aimed at promoting talent and professional development; and Pulse, featuring discussions on the design of immersive experiences, in addition to the highly sought-after technical sessions led by manufacturers under the Pro Training concept.

CTS Certification, a First for the Event

For the first time at InfoComm América Latina, professionals could take the CTS (Certified Technology Specialist) certification exam during the three-day event, as well as the CTS Quick Prep course.

“AVIXA is known for the excellence of its training. This year, we offered the CTS exams at the event for the first time, and we’ll continue to do so next year,” Heinold noted. “We’ll continue to provide a top-tier educational program featuring the right experts and voices to drive the industry forward.”

InfoComm América Latina 2027

The third edition of InfoComm América Latina will be held October 20–22, 2027, at the World Trade Center in Mexico City, with an exhibition floor 20% larger than before. 83% of the expanded floor space is already reserved by exhibitors. The exhibition will move to the venue's ground floor, the Maya halls, which offer a single, higher-ceilinged space ideal for showcasing technology with maximum impact. The Educational Program will remain in the mezzanine area, and the Demo Rooms will stay in their current location.

“Having the entire exhibition in a single hall is more cohesive and will provide much more favorable conditions for exhibitors,” explained Benavent.

Heinold concluded that the goal is to keep the event as efficient and effective as possible, helping professionals make the most of their time away from their businesses, “to grow their careers, their companies, and their teams.”

InfoComm América Latina 2026 was supported by AVI-SPL, the global leader in technology solutions for the sector, as Headline Partner; Audio-Technica, a company specializing in audio systems for the professional audiovisual industry, as a Gold Partner; and Absen Holding Mexico, one of the industry leaders in LED displays, as a Silver Partner.
