Every digital sign has a media player somewhere – some are internal, some are external and, as you heard during yesterday’s session, they can now be in the cloud – depending on the platform. And, nearly every media player accommodates advertising content as part of its CMS. Selecting a media player is likely as important as the creative, as the player determines how content is delivered, scheduled, played and even how scalable the signage network is. This session is an open, frank discussion of the media player options including external, CoB (chip-on-board), OPS and cloud, and how to evaluate that selection process based on the application for the digital signage network itself.
