Power is often an afterthought, but the reality is, underlying power issues can be a common root cause for system downtime. While many believe that the network and control is the foundation of the system, power issues can cause significant issues and render those installed systems useless. What good is an incredible commercial AV system during a black out?  In this presentation, attendees will learn the importance of power protection products in the integration of AV systems. This training will provide integrators with in-depth knowledge on how to effectively diagnose power anomalies and learn to better understand the common power problems that can disrupt product performance and derail expensive and intricate systems.  Systems that are not protected properly can be damaged and experience harmful side effects from surges and other power anomalies. This session will feature ways to manage and mitigate problems to allow for more optimized system infrastructure and performance. Attendees will walk away with a better understanding of which solutions available today for commercial installations and what products can help prolong the lifespan of and protect the AV products they're installing in the field.
