During the InfoComm show this June, you can get an insider’s look at some of the most impressive and inspiring AV integrations in the Las Vegas area.  InfoComm’s Tech Tours give participants an all access view led by the AV pros who make the magic happen. Bonus: some of these tours include tickets to a popular Las Vegas show, and you can earn CTS renewal units!

This year’s Tech Tours include:

  • Hospitality Hall, UNLVHospitality Hall at the University of Las Vegas Nevada
    The tech-savvy and innovative UNLV campus recently opened Hospitality Hall to house the university’s well-respected school of hospitality. The LEED certified building was designed to be a state-of-the-art academic hub for the next generation of hospitality industry leaders. Unique features of this modern learning space include interactive classrooms, an instructional kitchen, a PGA Golf Management learning center, and a function space overlooking the Las Vegas Strip.

  • Hakkasan Group Night Clubs (The Jewel at Aria, Hakkasan at MGM Grand, and the OMNIA at Caesar’s Palace)
    Three of the most popular clubs in Las Vegas showcase how club-goers are seeking immersive audiovisual experiences. In these behind-the-scenes tours you will interact with lighting, video, and audio technical directors who will demonstrate how they use AV to create unique experiences in each space.

    OMNIAThe OMNIA Nightclub at Caesar’s Palace was conceptualized with opulent, classic design and modern technology, and filled with interactives features and luxurious finishes.

    The Hakkasan Nightclub at the MGM Grand uses cutting-edge technology to create three levels of immersive experience that has drawn internationally-recognized DJs such as Calvin Harris and Steve Aoki.

    The Jewel at Aria achieves what it calls “ambient delight” by integrating AV features with the architectural design of the club.Above the dance floor, distinctive LED ribbons contour the pillars and walls pulsing with rhythm. A shape-shifting wall of technology light synchronizes with the experience.

  • Blue Man Group
    Blue Man GroupThe Blue Man Group cast and technical crew will lead a tour of their new specially designed state-of-the-art theater at Luxor Hotel and Casino. Participants will also get to see a sound check and pre-show Circle Meeting, and the show itself.

  • The Beatles LOVE Cirque du Soleil
    Music Director Giles Martin, son of legendary Beatles producer, Sir George Martin, has heightened LOVE’s listening experience with a completely remixed soundtrack, noting “the show is the closest anyone can get to being in the studio with the band.” Participants will go behind the curtain with the artists and technical staff, and then sit back to enjoy the show.
