Project Management for AV - Fundamentals: Sold Out!
The course provides insight and clarity into the authority and responsibilities associated with the key roles within a project: Client(s), General Contractors, Consultants, End Users, Sales, Engineers, Project Manager, Team members (Technicians, Programmers and Subcontractors), Purchasing, Warehouse, and Service. Includes a discussion on the different facets of an organization which must be in alignment in order to gain the full benefits of mature project management.
This course deepens the participant’s understanding of the four major management phases of AV integration projects. The course applies not only to individuals in the Project Manager position but also those in Sales/Account Management, Sales Engineering, Installation/Operations, Lead Technician, and support roles (Purchasing, Warehouse, etc.) within an organization.

Brad Malone, PMP
Brad Malone, PMP, has managed numerous large hardware, software development, and integration projects in his 35-year plus career for the government, commercial organizations, and not-for-profit entities. He develops and instructs training courses in basic and advanced project and process management skills, requirements, estimation, team development, and leadership, and has trained over 25,000 course participants worldwide. He consults with a 100s of Systems and AV integration customers worldwide on project management culture and process implementation and leadership issues. He is a Principal Instructor for the Project Management Institute, Senior Instructor for AVIXA, Member Advisory Council for NSCA, and regularly speaks at conferences / meetings (PSA Security, ProSource, PSNI, USAV Group, etc.). Mr. Malone holds a MA in International Business from the University of Dayton, a BS from the United States Air Force Academy, and the Project Management Professional (PMP®) designation from the Project Management Institute.
