The Education Market Association (EDmarket) and AVIXA have seen a dramatic shift in the design process for new educational facilities in recent years. There is a convergence of technology, space and pedagogy that requires more thought and planning for the spaces to ultimately serve the needs of students and faculty. During this webinar we will explore the design process for new facilities, particularly in the higher ed space.
Mark Russell manages Classroom Technology Services and the Learning Space Design teams which are responsible for the engineering design, installation, programming and support of AV solutions at IU. Mark is ultimately responsible for the design of Learning Spaces for the campus, specifically informal learning spaces, Student Technology Center spaces and active learning classrooms which support IU’s Mosaic Active Learning Initiative.
