    Stuart Wilcocks 

    Stuart Willcocks, CTS-D, CTS-I
    Audio-Visual Design Engineer, Google

    Stuart is a chartered engineer, and a member of the Institution of Engineering and Technology. He holds a degree in electronic engineering, Cisco CCNA certification and both AVIXA CTS-D and CTS-I certifications. Stuart’s career spans 30 years, and a variety of disciplines within the audiovisual industry. He originally trained as a lighting designer and sound engineer, enjoying several years working in theatre and live events. He worked at the BBC as a technical project manager, followed by 10 years creating audiovisual and interactive experiences for museums and exhibitions around the world. More recently, he has focused on the design of unusual and challenging AV integration projects in the commercial and corporate sectors. Prior to moving to Google, he was Head of Technology at McLaren, with responsibility for a cutting-edge event space for use by partners of the F1 team. Stuart volunteers with AVIXA as an instructor, and he is a member of the task group responsible for updating the ANSI/AVIXA Image System Contrast Ratio standard.
