The recently opened Chase Center offers guests a uniquely immersive experience, powered by audiovisual solutions from the Bunker Suites, to Thrive City plaza, to the centre-hung LED experience. This webinar will focus on the audiovisual solutions and decisions that the design team considered over the course of this project.
Shawn Bennett has created memorable world-class events and content, on some of the grandest stages in sports. He has over 18 years in the Sports Marketing & Entertainment industry including entertaining sold out crowds for New Yorkers at the World’s Most Famous Arena, Madison Square Garden, for nearly a decade.
He has created many of the NBA’s entertainment best practices, activations, programming and content. In his Executive Producer role with the Golden State Warriors, Shawn is responsible for producing the Game Experience and Scoreboard Operations at the new Chase Center in San Francisco.
Previous live event/sports experience includes, NBA Finals, NBA All-Star Games, New York Knicks at Madison Square Garden, Memphis Grizzlies, Orlando Magic, Memphis Redbirds. Shawn has a BS Sports Marketing & Management from the Indiana University.
Michael Meglathery Meglathery, Mike Program Manager / Lead Project Engineer Mike has over 25 years’ experience in broadcast and professional audio/video system design, currently serving as a dual purpose Program Manager/Lead Project Engineer. This dual focus allows him to calculatingly design and modify high-end projects while keeping a close eye on the timeline and budget, allowing clients to realize cutting-edge facilities within their project constraints.
Mike has expertise in all facets of production and operations of broadcast engineering facilities, allowing him to perform workflow evaluations, facility upgrade analysis, as well as system detailed design and commissioning. He has worked on complete facilities, production systems, audio systems, master control, studio support and shading, edit suites, technical operations centers, network operation centers, as well as a multitude of mobile production vehicles.
Previous live event/sporting clients include LA Rams, Golden State Warriors, Colorado Rockies, Atlanta Falcons, St. Louis Blues, St. Louis Cardinals, Anaheim Ducks, Texas A&M University, San Diego Padres, Seattle Mariners, Chicago WhiteSox, Detroit Lions, Houston Astros, LA Dodgers, Carolina Hurricanes and San Francisco Giants.

Mike has a BS Electrical Engineering from the University of Vermont.
Scott Heitman graduated with a Broadcast Engineering degree from Napa Valley College and went on to work for Bob Weir of the Grateful Dead, building a video streaming and recording facility. In 2012 he helped launch Pac-12 Networks and managed their broadcast engineering team. In 2019 he was hired by the Golden State Warriors as Director of Scoreboard Operations where he oversaw the construction and technology installation of the scoreboard control room at Chase Center. He continues to lead and provide oversight for all presentation video, audio and LED display technology that support the in-arena production environment for Warriors games and other venue events.
