Purpose
The AVIXA Oceania CTS Holder Award calls attention to the AV industry by recognising Certified Technology Specialist™ holders (CTS®, CTS-D® and/or CTS-I®) who are achieving rewarding and successful careers in the audiovisual and integrated experiences industries.
Programme Summary
AVIXA honours one CTS holder (CTS, CTS-D and/or CTS-I) who has distinguished themselves in the AV industry. The awards are designed to recognise individuals who have made extraordinary contributions to their business/organisation and to the industry and have displayed noteworthy leadership and initiative.
Award
The award will be given at Integrate 2018 in Sydney. Award winner(s) or appropriate representative of the winning company/individual will attend and be recognised in front of a prestigious group of AV professionals. The award includes a plaque to be presented at Integrate 2018.
Eligibility
This award is open to all current AVIXA CTS holders (CTS, CTS-D and/or CTS-I). Award judges and their companies are not eligible. Previous award winners are not eligible for this award.
Criteria for Judging
Nominations will be judged solely on the content provided on the award application. AVIXA will honour a CTS holder that is able to provide examples of instances in which they: demonstrate exceptional experiences in routinely meeting or exceeding client and company expectations, apply knowledge of CTS certification and best practices. The Awards Committee reserves the right to withdraw an award for a given year if there are not sufficient nominations to determine an appropriate winner.
Award Submission Requirements
The nominator must fill out the following online nomination form. Not all questions may apply. 250-500 word answers are appropriate, but longer answers are acceptable. Additionally, please include the nominee's bio, photo and relevant articles.
Applications must be received by Saturday, 30 June 2018. Upon receipt, applications become the property of AVIXA. Applications will not be returned to applicants. Late applications will not be accepted.
