The program of the fifth Congreso AVIXA: AV today, more present than ever, was very engaging for the different profiles of Spanish-speaking professionals within the audiovisual industry. The three-day InfoComm Southeast Asia 2022 at the Bangkok International Trade and Exhibition Centre (BITEC) came to a close on 4 November 2022. Returning in-person for the first time since its launch in 2019, Asia’s premier Professional AudioVisual (Pro-AV) and Transformative Technology Exhibition and Summit saw exhibitors, visitors and delegates from 22 countries. It was non-stop action across the exhibition show floor and the various Summit session venues.

After a strong 2021, when pro AV revenue growth exceeded initial expectations and hit 11%, 2022 is set up to hit a new high-water mark for pro AV, reaching $263 billion globally, according to AVIXA’s 2022 Industry Outlook and Trends Analysis (IOTA). Growth moderates in the coming years to a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 5.9% from 2022 to 2027. While this is due in part to the slow-down in economic expansion across the globe, pro AV is still set to grow faster than most countries’ GDPs during the same period.

The show welcomed 19,681 verified attendees from more than 110 countries and all 50 U.S states, and 522 exhibitors showcased innovative pro AV products and solutions across 294,500 square feet of the trade show floor in the North Hall and new West Hall of the Las Vegas Convention Center.

InfoComm 2022 officially kicks off tomorrow June 4, at the Las Vegas Convention Center, starting with its comprehensive education program. Then on Wednesday, June 8, the trade show floor will officially open after the ribbon cutting ceremony at 8:45 a.m. in the West Lobby. InfoComm 2022 will welcome 72 new exhibitors to the show, bringing the total exhibitors to more than 550.
