AVIXA to Present at American Bankers Association’s 2017 Annual Convention on the Better Business Outcomes Created by Integrated Audiovisual Experiences

CEO David Labuskes will be joined by leading AV design firms Diversified and ESI Design at the Oct. 17 presentation at the American Bankers Association Annual Convention in Chicago.

FAIRFAX, VA, Oct. 3, 2017 — AVIXA, the Audiovisual and Integrated Experience Association™, is set to take part in the American Bankers Association’s (ABA) Annual Convention 2017 in Chicago, with a panel discussion on the better business and human outcomes being created in banks by integrated audiovisual experiences.

The “Power of Audiovisual Experiences in Banking” panel discussion will be moderated by AVIXA Chief Executive Officer David Labuskes, CTS®, CAE, RCDD, who will be joined by Tom Percich, Senior Vice President of Sales at Diversified Media Group, and Gideon D’Arcangelo, Vice President of Creative Strategy at ESI Design. Percich will discuss the work being done by Diversified for Bank of America and D’Arcangelo will describe his company’s work for PNC. The presentation takes place Tuesday, Oct. 17, at the Hyatt Regency Chicago.

“AVIXA’s initiative to raise awareness of the benefits of integrated audiovisual experiences has taken us to leading conferences in the higher education, retail, and hospitality channels,” said Labuskes. “Now we turn our attention to the retail banking channel at the ABA Annual Convention 2017, the industry’s premier banking event. I am pleased to be joined by Diversified and ESI Design, two leaders in the advancement of audiovisual solutions within the sector. The work these two firms are doing for Bank of America and PNC is certain to raise a broader awareness of what integrated audiovisual experiences can achieve for financial services companies.”

According to Labuskes, existing digital signage networks at banks are getting smarter and more agile, with the addition of wayfinding and interactivity. Increasingly, banks are introducing localized messaging through unified, addressable signage networks; bank-centered outreach programs driven by technology-based engagement and education; personalized in-branch experiences using AV technology to guide customers on their journey from information gathering to one-on-one discussions; interactive AV technology for creating a new level of personalization; and expanded videoconferencing to foster communication between bank and customers.

“The banking industry, like others, is changing with the times,” Labuskes emphasized. “Now, in the digital age, integrated audiovisual experiences are having a liberating effect on how retail branch banks operate and how customers experience them. The retail bank of the future is already very much alive and well today.”
